Rishikesh is an interesting and refreshing destination found at the foothills of Himalayas. This destination is a prime spiritual and adventure destination. Rishikesh is a famous spot in Charm DhamYatra and also holds numerous religious shrines for spiritual exploration.
Once you reach Delhi, you will be driven to Rishikesh. First, you will be taken to NeelkanthMahadev Temple. This is an important and sacred temple of the region. According to mythology, this is the place where Lord Shiva drank a dangerous poison and it stay in his neck, turning it blue.
Later, you will be visiting LakshmanJhula, which is famous for serene views of the lush gardens and mountains. The current bridge is built in 1939, but the original bridge was said to be built by Lakshman for Lord Ram, his brother to cross the river.Enjoy a night’s stay in the hotel in Rishikesh
The day starts with a visit to TriveniGhat, where three rivers (Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati) merge. This attraction was built in 9th century by AdiShankaracharya, a famous Hindu philosopher and saint. Apart from this, you will be covering other important pilgrimage sites in this region.
Moving on, you will be taken to Shivpuri, which is quite famous among tourists for the serene view and adventure activities. Top activities to enjoy here are rafting, camping, and bungee jumping. You can take part in bungee jumping and also enjoy sightseeing. Later, you will be taken back to your hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast and checkout formalities, you will be taken on a road trip to Mussoorie from Rishikesh. Mussoorie is a beautiful foothill destination located in Garhwal Himalayas. The city is found at 1880m above mean sea level. Mussoorie is famous for the wildlife beauty, natural scenic element, and spiritual beauty.
LalTibba(6800m) is the highest point in Mssoorie and Gun Hill (2290m) is the second highest.Once you reach Mussoorie, you will be checked into a hotel for overnight stay.
You will be taken on a scenic sightseeing tour covering exquisite destinations of the land. You will be left to spend considerable amount of time near Kempty Falls to enjoy the serene ambience of the waterfalls, which is surrounded by mountains. You can enjoy taking a dip in the waterfalls.
Later, you will be covering some of the colonial attractions of the region. End the sightseeing tour with a visit to the local markets for souvenir hunting. You will be taken back to the hotel for overnight stay.
After you are checked out of the hotel you will be driven to Delhi. Once you reach Delhi, the tour is officially completed.
